The State of Florida established the Florida-Canadian Linkage Institute in 1986 to foster cultural, educational, and economic links between Florida and Canada. The tuition exemption program provides an affordable way to enhance students' intellectual development and international consciousness. The tuition exemption covers the out-of-state portion of tuition fees. Students are responsible for the in-state tuition fees.
