International Partnership Development
International agreements formalize the relationship between a university, organization, government or agency in another country and UCF. These documents frame activities such as overseas studies programs, exchanges of academic personnel or students, collaborative research plans and exchanges of materials and information.
UCF faculty and staff are encouraged to explore opportunities for collaboration with colleagues at institutions outside the US. However, a formal agreement is required when the relationship involves the commitment of resources, or when the agreement will lead to activities regulated by existing UCF policies, State or Federal laws.
OIS provides information to interested faculty and staff about existing agreements and agreement templates. OIS also facilitates and administers the process of authorization. If you want more information about international agreements you can review or download the UCF International Partnership Development Guidelines (PDF). If you are interested in developing an agreement and have discussed your intentions with the head of your unit, please click here to register or log in to the UCF International Agreement Management System.
